Buds - Trans Adult Peer Support Group

  • PEERS Alliance 250b Queen Street Charlottetown, PE, C1A 4B8 Canada (map)

Join us for Buds, a supportive space for trans and gender-diverse adults, on the last Thursday of the month from 6:30 - 8:30pm at the PEERS Alliance Office.

Are you a transgender or gender-diverse person looking for peer support and community? Buds is a supportive brave space for trans and/or gender-diverse adults aged 18+. As part of our Roots & Shoots family of programming, the philosophy of Roots & Shoots is support from the ground up.

Buds is based on a peer-to-peer approach to dealing with and talking about the toxic stress that trans people endure each and every day. Bring your open minds and hearts, and learn practices for supporting yourself and building community! While Buds is a trans-only space, all family members are welcome to join PEERS Alliance staff & volunteers to have discussions, gain knowledge, and enjoy light refreshments in a non-judgmental environment on the last Wednesday of the month at our Roots & Shoots program.

Register for Buds here!

Buds meets on the last Thursday of every month from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the PEERS Alliance office. For more information, contact Anastasia at anastasia@peersalliance.ca.
