PEI SEXUAL HEALTH SERVICES

All provincial sexual health services are provided through the Women’s Wellness Program and Sexual Health Services. Give them a call anytime and they can help you set up an appointment during regular clinic hours. Inclusive to all genders, ages, and sexual orientation. Anonymous booking & testing available.

SEXUAL HEALTH AFTER HOURS WALK-IN CLINICS

These clinics take place once a month, alternating between Charlottetown (The Mount) and Summerside (Harbourfront Health Centre). No appointment necessary and non-nominal testing (no name attached to results – which increases confidentiality and anonymity) available!

Call ahead before visiting a walk-in clinic as hours (listed below) may change without notice due to inclement weather and COVID -19 changes.

WOMEN’S CLINIC

For women only. By appointment only. Dr. Christine Hoffman offers STI testing at the Women’s Clinic, located at 24 Linden Ave. Phone: 902-367-3285


UPEI HEALTH CENTRE

For UPEI students only. UPEI’s Health Centre offers sexual health testing (STI testing and Pap screens) by appointment only. Contact the health centre by emailing them, calling 902-566-0616 or in-person at the W. P. Murphy Centre (on UPEI campus).


HOLLAND COLLEGE

For Holland College Students only. Holland College has a nurse practitioner that will be available for walk-ins every Wednesday (8:30-11:30am and 1:00-3:00pm). STI testing, pelvic exams, pap screening, and referrals are available.


PAP SCREENING CLINICS

If you have a cervix, you can access STBBI testing at the same time as your regular pap test

REGULAR WALK-IN CLINICS

STI testing should be available upon request at any of the regular walk-in clinics across the province. For a full list of clinics, visit here.


FAMILY DOCTOR

If you have a general practitioner or family doctor, they can provide STI testing upon request. However, if you are not comfortable with asking that of your doctor, any of the above options are available!


HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOMS

If you have no other options, you can access STI testing at the QEH (Charlottetown) or PCH (Summerside)


STUDENT WELL-BEING TEAMS

If you are in high school, speak to members of your student well-being team and they can help you set up an appointment for STBBI testing.
