This November, we’re shining a light on HIV awareness, resilience, and community care across PEI. From art and storytelling to film, workshops, and celebration — join us as we honour those impacted by HIV and work toward a future rooted in equity and compassion.

Red Ribbon Path Inaugural Walk: Saturday, November 1, 1pm, Cultural Pavilion in Victoria Park
Meet at the Cultural Pavilion in Victoria Park for a quick chat before we walk the path together! The Red Ribbon Path is a new public art and storytelling trail honouring those impacted by HIV while celebrating resilience and progress in our community.
Focus Group + Community Dinner: Friday, November 7, 5:30pm, PEERS Alliance Office (250B Queen St)
Join us at the PEERS Alliance office for a focus group (limited to 15 participants) share your insights on chronic pain and living with HIV. At 7:30 PM we’re inviting everyone living with HIV to a community dinner with live entertainment to follow. Registration required - register here! Focus Group participants will receive $100 honorarium and $25 gas card (per vehicle).
PEI Premiere - Still Here: Wednesday, November 12, 5pm, Tivoli Cinema
Join us at Tivoli Cinema for the PEI premiere of Still Here, a moving 45min documentary on HIV and aging, presented in collaboration with CANFAR. The evening will be preceded with a screening of Women Who Cared, a mini-doc created for the Red Ribbon Path. Free entry.
Healthy Living Workshop: Wednesday, November 26, 6:30pm, PEERS Alliance Office (250B Queen St)
Join us for a hands-on workshop designed for people living with HIV, focused on practical tips and affordable strategies for maintaining a balanced, nourishing diet that supports overall health and well-being. Registration required - register here! Participants will receive a $25 gas card (per vehicle).
PEI Sexual Health and Education Show: Thursday, November 27, 9am - 4pm, The Guild (111 Queen St)
PEERS Alliance is proud to host a Healthcare Provider Education Day focused on STBBI prevention, care, and treatment in Prince Edward Island. This full-day educational event is intended for PEI Physicians, Pharmacists, Nurses, and other Healthcare Providers. Registration is required - learn more and register here!
Wearable Art Party - Mischievous Masquerade: Friday November 28, 8 - 11pm, The Guild (111 Queen St)
Get ready for the WAP (Wearable Art Party) of the season. Everyone’s favourite art-meets-fashion bash returns with a sultry masked twist! In collaboration with This Town Is Small, expect bold looks, live demos, and beats that keep the night pulsing as we kick off the PEI Sexual Health & Education Show. This event is Pay-What-You-Can for entry.
The Pleasure Expo: Saturday November 29, 10am - 6pm, The Guild (111 Queen St)
Dive into a day of curiosity and connection with workshops and demonstrations that celebrate pleasure and self-expression. Explore The Naughty List Collective, featuring local artisans and a Venus Envy pop-up packed with bold, flirty finds for someone special (or yourself). This event is Pay-What-You-Can for entry.
World AIDS Day Ceremony: Monday, December 1, 5:30pm, The Guild (111 Queen St)
Join us at The Guild on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 5:30 PM for the World AIDS Day Ceremony, an evening to honour those we’ve lost to AIDS and celebrate those living with HIV. Together, we’ll renew our collective commitment to compassion, awareness, and the ongoing pursuit of equity and care.
